Jaxon 2 Year Update

2 Year Stats
Weight: 26.5 lbs (46%)
Height: 33.75 inches (24%)

Jaxon is such a fun little boy at 2 years old.  He is so smart and makes us smile every single day.  He is starting to say funny that make me laugh.  The other day we were watching Price is Right, and they were giving away a hot tub jaccuzi.  He got really excited and said, "A bath, a bath, a bath!"  He is also obsessed with cars and trains right now.  Today while I was doing the dishes from dinner, I hear "ch..ch..ch..ch..choo-choo" and look over to see him building a train out of his carrots, potatoes, and chicken.

Every single day since he got his train set for his birthday, he brings all the pieces into the living room and puts it together.  I love that he loves his trains, but I hate how the track is always in my living room for me to step on trip over. (I just noticed in this pic, he is even wearing a train shirt.)

  • Wears 2T clothes, 6.5 shoes
  • Can say the alphabet, Count to 20, and knows all his shapes and colors
  • Favorite foods: Chicken, apples, oranges, broccoli, fruit snacks, cookies, cheese, yogurt, ramen noodles, mac n cheese, ravioli, oatmeal
  • Still only drinks water or milk (hates juice or soda)
  • Has a big vocabulary and says 3-word sentences ("There it is", "I love Mommy", "Where's it at?")
  • Loves to play Just Dance on the Wii, loves his toys, loves to color, loves books, loves to play games and watch music videos on the ipad
  • Loves to wrestle and play- especially with Robie
  • He doesn't like change and gets frustrated when he strays from routines
  • Favorite shows: Super Why, Little Einsteins, Daniel Tiger, Dinosaur Train, Elmo
  • Recently obsessed with the movie Cars and asks to watch it every morning
  • He is a great big brother and loves to kiss, hug, and play with Gavin.  He always says Gavin is "cute" and loves pointing out his feet and eyes (sometimes accidentally poking them)
  • Great with manners and says please, thank-you, and welcome
  • Transitioned to a toddler bed a couple weeks ago in preparation to move to his big boy bed next month.  So far, he loves it and sometimes even crawls in it to take a nap on his own in the afternoons.
Jaxon is just the sweetest little boy, and we are so blessed to have him in our lives every day.
