Since the Easter Bunny does not come to our house anymore, we decided to get creative this year. We both went to Wal-mart and picked out a basket. We set a limit of $25 (and ONLY $25) we could spend on each other. Then we split. For about 30 minutes, we wandered around Wal-mart, being careful not to run into each other, as we secretly gathered goodies and surprises for the other person. This was a blast! We purchased our presents, and rushed home. Of course there was no way we were going to wait for Easter the next day to see what we got each other. So, we prepared our baskets and hid them around the house for the other one to fine. After a fun game of hide the basket and seek, we were able to see what Easter treats we got.
I picked out a bunch of sour and gummy candies for Robie along with 2 new card games and some silly string. Robie picked me out the adorable movie Marley and Me along with chocolates and gum. Keep on hopping Easter Bunny. We have this one covered!
