Vacation in Vegas

All last week, Robie and I were hanging out in Las Vegas.  We wanted to go somewhere tropical and warm for our Summer Vacation this year since it would be the last one before our baby, but after considering I can't go zip-lining, I can't go wave running, and I can't do pretty much anything fun, we figured why spend the money when we would just sit on a beach anyway.  Plus, being on a long international flight did not sound appealing.  So, we saved money and drove to Vegas.  We got an amazing little resort off the strip.  It was like a living in a condo.  2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, 3 flat screen TV's, 24-hour pool (which was a must because it was 116 degrees half the trip)...it had everything.  It was nice just relaxing, and not having to worry about work.  Rather than blab a long paragraph that no one will read, I will just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Our resort
Eating at a super nice restaurant called MIX at the top of "The Hotel" at Mandala Bay with Robie's brother, Jon-David, and Lacey.  They came to stay with us for one of the days.
E
Concert at The House of Blues seeing Thrice perform.  People were going crazy moshing, so I played the pregnant card and we all got VIP seating in the front.
Robie and I went to the Price is Right Vegas show.  It was not as good as the real one, but it was still a lot of fun.  The host from Supermarket Sweep was the host of our show.
This place was awesome.  They had affordable food in Vegas, and they treat you like crap the whole time you are there.  It was so funny.
Our last night in Vegas, Robie took me to see The Phantom of the Opera.  It was really good.  The production was amazing, and the actors were excellent.

We had a great time, ate way too much good food, and the most important part- I finally got a tan!  Success!
