Friends in Texas

It was so fun hanging out with my close friends in Texas.  I have missed having a real girls night.  Although I have some good friends in Utah, it's nice being around my BFFs in Texas.

I got to hang out with my Heather, Brittni, and my BFF Caroline for 4th of July at the Leander Days Festival.

My sister, Hadley, and me.

While in Texas, I also got to go to my friend Jessica's bridal shower.  It was so much fun.  I even got my own stylish wedding dress to model.

Family in Texas

I am trying to finish up my blog post from our visit in Texas, so here are the last of our trip.

My mom and Aunt Kelly

At my grandparent's house.  Jax loved all the deer hanging out in the back yard.

Cousins Ashton and Connor

Jax loved watching Cayden play Minecraft

My grandpa and grandma (Mom's parents) with Jax and Gav before we said goodbye.

Hanging out with my Aunt Mikal.  She lives in Japan, and it was so nice seeing her.  She's the reason we extended our flight to stay out there way longer than we originally planned. It was worth it 100% to be able to spend that extra quality time with family.

Cayden is always making everyone laugh

My sexy cousins Loren and Saren

Earlier in the week when we were heading back from Sea World, we stopped at the famous Buc-ee's.  It's seriously the biggest convenience store ever!  It's like a gas station on steroids.

After that, we decided to do a little shopping at the Outlets.  There were the cutest food trucks there with the BEST food ever.  I ate at the Pedestrian Cafe, and it did not disappoint.

Saying goodbye to Grandma Christine

Headed to the airport
I was so nervous flying alone with both kids.  It was a challenge keeping them both entertained, but for the most part they did really well.  There was only one small episode of crying during landing on our layover.  All I wanted was for them to both fall asleep, but that never happened...

...until literally 2 minutes before we landed back in Utah.  Ugh!  Why couldn't they have fallen asleep earlier?!  Even though we loved being in Texas with family and friends, we were just happy to be home and I was just happy to have survived the flight.
